MasalaCarte.com requires outstanding web developers based in Mumbai to develop an innovative and interactive website. The web developer will work closely with the founding team and graphic designers. Programming and database administration are elements of this position.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the team in a startup environment to develop detailed website with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into CSS/XHTML themes.

Determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations.

Intimate about any progress and/or delays with efficiency and accuracy.

Engage in out- of- the- box thinking and provide alerts on emerging technologies, applications and opportunities to integrate them into our operations.

Skillset Required

Experience in HTML/XHTML and CSS

Proficient in web programming experience, including PHP, ASP or JSP

Able to work with relational database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle

Good working knowledge of SQL development and experience in extensible web authoring tools

Experience in developing and implementing open source software projects

Self-starter with strong self-management skills and ability to organize and multi- tasking
