Established in 1993, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), India is an autonomous organization that deals with Human Rights and its various aspects.
The student gains knowledge about the functioning of various divisions of the Commission.
He/she is also made aware of the process of complaints being made and given attention. Further, the intern is even encouraged to have an interaction with the complainants, which is an important feature. Also other issues pertaining to human rights are taken up.
ELIGIBILITY and DURATION:
Students pursuing their degree in any stream may apply, law students are preferable.
The duration may vary from 15 days to one month.
