Centre for Civil Society is now offering a non-Summer internship program (a minimum duration of 2 months) as well. Highly relevant for students looking for a career in Public Policy, Economics, Politics or Administrative Service. Even those who have finished their studies may apply for it.

For uninitiated ones, Centre for Civil Society (CCS) is founded by Gurcharan Das (author ofIndia Unbound), so brace yourself for 2 months of intense soul stirring and thought provoking debate and discussion sessions with the best and the brightest in the country.

It’s summer internship program Researching Reality is a coveted one with students from all over India (IITs, NITs, Delhi University, JLNU, St. Xaviers etc. and even international students) competing hard to secure limited seats. In 2011, out of 213 students who applied, only 26 made it.

About Internship: - The CCS internship program provides a greatly valued and needed learning experience in real-life application of social and economic principles and in teaching college students the skills of research, analysis, writing, and above all critical thinking. The interns would be working on the topic of research that they chose which includes research, studies, field visits and paper presentation etc. They would be working in office for 8 and ½ hrs from Monday to Friday.

Who can apply: - Anu undergraduate, graduate or professional student or a recent graduate with a passion for research in area of public policy is encouraged to apply
