Job description Use InDesign to covert word documents into ready to publish course-ware. Understand the requirements/problems of course design and solve them via software knowledge. Customize and integrate existing products. Selecting and formatting content , such as the size and style of type, column width/spacing and alignment of ingredients of the course-ware. Selecting and checking colors to ensure consistency in material. Scanning and editing photographs and other images required in the product. Producing/editing/formatting graphics such as diagrams, charts and tables Re-size and design elements to fit the page layout. Making sure images (screen shots) are positioned near the relevant text material. Making sure that each page (layout), and the document as a whole, is uncluttered and well balanced Using electronic publishing technologies, such as Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) to convert documents to an internet-ready format Develop defect-free software applications and programs based on course design and requirements.
