SnapChai works with professional wedding photographers across India and United States to provide them digital media post-production services. SnapChai provides the highest quality, and fastest in the market Post Production, Album Design & Layout, and Album Printing services to Professional Wedding Photographers. Job Opening

Creative Designers (Total - 3 Positions):

SnapChai is currently a 7-member team in India and a 6-member team in the US. We plan to extend our reach in the Indian and the US markets and establish a photography "brand" that services the best wedding photographers in these countries. In the Creative Designer role, you will be trained on the latest post-processing and design techniques used by leading wedding photographers. You will work on their live weddings, and will play a key role in realizing Oodio’s vision for the Wedding Photography market.

Remuneration
This offer is for a full-time position at SnapChai. The salary offered is Rs. 9,500/- per month for the first 3 “training” months, after which, it’ll be reviewed based on performance. Coffee & Tea are free!

Pre-requisites desired from the employees

1) A BVA/MVA degree is preferred (not mandatory).

2) Interest in design and photography a must.

3) Aesthetics – Understanding of the nuances of the “Wow!” factor in images.

4) Previous experience in Post Processing images – Adobe Photoshop experience required. Adobe Lightroom experience a plus.

5) Previous experience in startups a plus (not mandatory).

6) Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

7) Ability to work independently. High degree of personal responsibility & motivation.

8) Sense of humor.

Application Procedure

2) Round 2 – Written Test & Interviews: For the candidates who pass Round 1, a written test will be conducted on the 3rd of March 2012, followed by interviews on the same day. The candidates who pass Round 2 will be selected to work as “Creative Designers” at SnapChai from the 5th of March 2012.
