He has till date presented 12 technical papers, including four nationals and one international. His recent project has been awarded 1st prize at IIT Kanpur Golden Jubilee Alumni Convention where he was offered research fellowship as well.

Sujith had been nominated as the Vice President of Students' Council, School of Computing Science, VIT University for the 2010 - 11 and thus was the school representative on behalf of students front. He served as the of President of CSI - VIT University, Students' branch 2009 - 10 and succeeded in getting the Second Best Student Branch Award for CSI (Computer Society Of India) - VIT University, Students' Branch (2009 - 10) from CSI - India. He is also the founder and Chair of IEEE - CS Student Branch Chapter 2010 - 11 in VIT University.
