The visceral vigour which was ignited last year has erupted again to encroach upon our hearts. OOORJA is an inter-college freestyle rock band competition. OOORJA which originates from a Sanskrit means energy, and as the name suggests, the event is a live show of the same. Enthusiasts from all over the country participate in the two day rock marathon under exuberance of illumination and euphony. Connoisseurs from a wide gamut of rock music assay the skills, performance and ardor of the performers, which serves as an apposite platform for budding rock stars. Moreover, filling the electrified environment with energy and fire are live performances by some of the prominent and well acclaimed professional bands in the Indian Rock circuit. Exhorting and cheering for the performers is plethora of audiences from all over the country, making the event a great success. Bands like JAL, PARIKRAMA, THEM CLONES, PENTAGRAM, ZERO, RUDRA, MIKA (OCP), DOMINIC RESSURECTION, EVERGREEN, etc. have thumped ISM in past years and through OOORJA they continue this legacy.
