WAVES Winter 2009, the annual cultural festival of BITS - Pilani, Goa Campus, will be held from 6th to 8th November, 2009.The scenic campus of BITS Pilani, Goa bursts in a crescendo of music, colour and energy as the college celebrates its annual cultural festival WAVES.It is an extravaganza of every art form imaginable.Waves has expanded at an exponential rate and now commands participation from colleges all over India.It consists of events in every conceivable field, including literary,Drama,Dance,Music,Quiz and mime.The Prominent events include Natyanjali(the group dance event),the mime event “Skime”,the street play “Hamaari Awaaz Suno” and the guitar duel ,”Six String Showdown” ,the only event of its kind in the country where guitar virtuosos go one-on-one on the stage equipped with their scorching riffs and blazing solos.There are special events like “Sea Rock”, the semi pro Rock competition that showcases some of the country’s finest rock bands, the ever-glamorous fashion parade “Fash-P”, Waves’ signature event “Mr.&Ms.Waves” . There are various workshops like Dance workshop, Hypnotism, Ambigram, Blogging, 3D photography being organized . More details of the events can be found on the website.
